Dance Marathon is a great way for you to get involved in the community and support your dancers while enjoying a Saturday afternoon with your family, friends, and fellow faculty and staff from the St. Louis area! Additionally, Chancellor Wrighton will donate $13 per faculty and staff member at Dance Marathon in honor of the 13th year of Dance Marathon at Washington University in St. Louis!

The Sixth Annual Faculty and Staff Reception will take place at Dance Marathon 2011 on Saturday, November 5 at 4:00 pm. This reception is a special opportunity to learn more about Dance Marathon, talk with other faculty and staff, and enjoy afternoon refreshments. The reception will be followed by the Faculty and Staff Entrance into the dancing area, where you will have a chance to see the event in action! After your entrance, you are welcome to mingle with students and other faculty and staff, enjoy the student performing groups, participate in games and crafts with the Miracle Families, and attend the Miracle Auction.

This year we are not only dancing for the kids but also for Dean McLeod who was a truly amazing man and a wonderful supporter of the St. Louis Area Dance Marathon. He will be gravely missed, but his spirit lives on in all that we do for the kids.

Please also consider joining your colleagues in becoming a Miracle Faculty and Staff member by channeling your passion and enthusiasm for raising funds for and awareness of Children's Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis (CMN) into an exciting opportunity to get more involved in the actual event.
