Collin was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in Nov. of 1999, just prior to his 5th birthday. He underwent 44 weeks of chemotherapy, 6 weeks of radiation and numerous surgeries. Collin has been cancer free for 8 years. He continues to see specialists at Cardinal Glennon for some residual issues, but nothing that hinders him from being an active teenager.

Collin is in 8th grade at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in St. Charles. He serves as his class president and maintains straight A’s. He recently won the National Geographic Geography Bee at his school and will try to compete at the state level in March. He was also chosen to represent his school in an area wide Academic Bowl. Collin received a scholarship for leadership from CBC High School where he will be attending in the fall. He hopes to become an architect.

Collin enjoys all sports but golf is his favorite. He and his family spend a lot of time at the Lake of the Ozarks where he loves to fish, swim and water ski.

Collin has been through so much in his short life, but he continues to be a constant reminder that miracles are possible. His family is very proud of him.
