Thank you for your interest in participating in St. Louis Area Dance Marathon! Dancers and Morale Captains are vital to the success of Dance Marathon because their energy and enthusiasm are at the heart of the event. If you like to have a great time with your friends while working toward an important cause, then Dance Marathon is the event for you. Make sure to register as a morale captain by October 3 or as a dancer by October 14!

 Here are the ways to participate in Dance Marathon as a dancer

1. Register as an INDIVIDUAL DANCER
   • An individual dancer may join a team that is led by a Morale Captain.
   • When you register online, select your Team Name and Morale Captain from the drop-down menus.
   • Don't have a team to join?
     • Either start your own team, or:
     • Sign up to be placed with other individual dancers.
2. Register as a MORALE CAPTAIN
   • A Morale Captain is the leader of a team of dancers. Teams are comprised of 8-20 dancers.
   • A Morale Captain can either:
     • Recruit dancers to make up his/her own team.
     • Ask to be assigned dancers to make up a full team.
   • A Morale Captain has the responsibility to:
     1. Recruit team members and other participants, and if necessary help them register.
     2. Build a cohesive team and keep dancers informed of events leading up and on the day of DM.
     3. Help dancers set and reach their fundraising goals and keep track of their progress.
     4. Create, learn, and teach the Morale Dance.
     5. Supply the enthusiasm at Dance Marathon.
   • When you register online, you get to create your Team Name.

2. Cannot register online?
   • Contact the Dancer Relations Chair, Callie Lambert.
Participation Fee Refund Policy: Until Dancer Registration closes, Dance Marathon will award a full refund upon request. After the closing of Registration, Dance Marathon will only refund $25 of the $35 fee. The $10 is for costs already incurred by Dance Marathon at the close of Registration. No refunds will be awarded on or following the day of the event.
